Doing business as Upbeat Parade Productions, Ray Pulver is an event producer and consultant with over 25 years of experience, having worked with many different types of parades from small town and ethnic parades, to regionally and nationally televised parades. In addition to parades, he has coordinated drum and bugle corps competitions, marching band shows, street festivals, craft shows, and worked as a Special Events Coordinator for the City of San Jose, California.

Upbeat Parade Productions is a member of the California Festivals and Events Association (CalFest) where Ray currently serves as President of their Board of Directors. We are also a member of the International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA) and listed with the National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professionals. Upbeat Parade Productions is proud to have the opportunity to work with many of the best professionals in this industry.

Other organizations Ray has been involved include the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps Booster Organization, having served as their Vice President and Board of Directors member in 2001, the Drum Corps International (DCI) Show Sponsors Task Force and is a member of the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.

A speaker on the topic of parades and related events, Ray has spoke at Universities, IFEA, CalFest, DCI, and Pacific Coast Judges Association classes, seminars and conventions in cities throughout the country including; New York City, Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, Las Vegas, Omaha, Boise, San Jose and other cities throughout Northern California.

  Ray has had the honor of serving as a parade float judge for several parades on both the west and east coasts, including for the nationally renowned Portland Rose Festival, Grand Floral Parade in Portland, Oregon, the second largest all floral parade in the United States and the renown Carnaval Parade in San Francisco.
